I bought note 3, 4, 5, and 8. I convinced my friends to join the note family. Don't force us to leave the the note series. I am hoping this issue of oem will be solved. Otherwise, I am giving up this time.

How can some regions have OEM free status, whilst others are restricted. We all paid for the device. In my case i paid hard dollars in a foreign country to get device.

Samsung should stop imitating Apple with restricting the owner of the phone. I am lucky so far with the OEM unlock but will surely stop buying Samsung if this restriction continues

If I pay over 1000 EU for smartphone, its my right to use it my way. Manipulation with MY device from now on is ONLY in my hands. I want my rights back. I've not agreed to rule my device by anyone. Someone should sue Samsung for that OEM gate with our N8 devices!

I've used Samsung phones from Note 1 era. This is making me mad . I'll migrate to Google phones etc if Samsung prevent me from rooting my Exynos phone... . I bought this phone and I own it. I have the power to do ANYTHING I want to do with my phone. No warranty is fair. But preventing root? Are you freaking kidding me? No way! .

I've bought and paid full price of my Note 8 from Dubai. Am not happy with this OEM unlock toggle issues, cos I can't root phone. I don't mind losing warranty as it doesn't work properly in Ghana.
