No tax increases at all, rather, tax decreases worthy of conservative politicians who are aware that taxpayers are paying the highest taxes in a nation that must allow citizens to own the money they earn.
Please decreas taxes federal and statewide and downsize the unbearable size of a renegade unconstitutional government.

Up until 6 months ago I lived in Davenport, IA. When we couldn't sell my deceased parents home in Rock Island, IL I decided to purchase it.. Already I am feeling some buyers remorse. While it appeared my income level qualified me for some Rock Island financial assistance programs including closing cost, there seemed to be road blocks at every turn that made the $$$ assistance carrot unattainable, I ended up purchasing on my own, no breaks on my interest rate, closing costs or anything. I sucked it up and bought the house anyway. Then yesterday I got my property tax bill. CRAP!!!! My home is located in a low-income part of town, The houses on either side of mine have sat vacant for 3+ yrs, and owned by banks via foreclosures. Still my property was assessed as $71000, and my 2013 property taxes are almost $2400. Are you KIDDING ME!!!! Now I also hear Illinois is also considering taxing my social security income as well. Its making me wonder what the Hell I'm doing living in Illinois. Gas is higher, taxes are higher, housing costs are higher, insurance is higher .,.... all things that make me slap my forehead and ask "what was I thinking?!?!?!?". So its a no-brainer I want my name on any petition that keeps Illinois from raising taxes even more.
