looks like there are more ppl banning escooter den supporting escooter on green environment. It's a matter of ppl riding safely. Ban escooter doesn't solved anything. I dun mind a Licence to be taken as Long as we can save more $$. As not everybody can afford a vehicle.

PMD is a good platform for last mile solution. Daily accident happen on the road why dun ban car instead. Just need time and educate pple not to abuse pmd.

When things happen people will only use the most easier way to solve problem cause they don't really picture the real facts that what is the main cause of the problem. If u cherish ur life, cherish ur family members. Why not just go back to kampong life. Where u walk to school. Walk to work. In a advance country crying over people eco friendly transportation. Alot of the user's use the e scooter as a form of transport to work, for their delivery or a form of transportation to meet friends to chill and relax. If there is a proper track for them to use, do u even think they wanted to be sharing on the pedestrian walkway.
Go look around how ppl walk on pedestrian walkway. Looking at their hand phone like eyes glue to it. Even without e scooter. U will also see ppl having hazards while walking on the walkway.
There will be tons of things to ban.

I find it stupid to ban e scooters wen it's green environment and same we could say if taxis have accidents can we ban them???? if buses have accidents can we ban them???? It's very political and don't just because of a few black sheep the community have to suffer....

End of the day it's the mindset of the rider. Same goes to driving. U give someone with a wrong mindset to drive any vehicle. He will also violate the traffic rules

With all these going green campaign going on. We as a community are doing our part by using the PEVs....Then comes the news of banning the escooter due to a few accidents and incidents... Hello are you being fair to those who ride within the regulations. And are the public educated enough to share the common path with us... Do you government need to implement a specific path for us to travel so that we can use the PEV without fear in knocking someone or something. What do you as goverent want us to do when there is no direct path for us to travel????

it is top much of resources to waste on such black sheeps. Goverment should come out with a scheme where scooter riders are also able to note down on black sheep particulars with a valid sort of permit..with the help of safety riding community to penalise these black sheeps i believe sommer or later there will be lesser of such cases. Just like keeping a lookout of each other

E-Scooter is eco friendly. It does not harm the environment. Only a handfull broke the rule does not mean everyone will.

The law can be bend , but not to break, we are the middle age citizen who making a living with Escooter for delivery purpose, if the respectives government rigid with 20 kg Escooter, this will affected our rice bowl,can the 20 kg escooter carry good for deliver ? I suggest the government please amend the book. just like controlling the teenager from buying cigarettes for an example.or alcohol control law, please allow those above 35 years suit to own 39.9 kgs Escooter.
