This law, limiting access to women’s health care and interference of her right to choose is a civil rights issue. Focus your time and energy on changing laws that we can all support - stricter accountability for rapists and child molesters; domestic violence; easier adoption; pre-natal care; sex education.

Women should have control over their bodies. I had friends that almost died in the 1960’s as a result of illegal abortions and that will happen again if the legal choice is taken away from them!

I am opposed to spending tax dollars to defend this deplorable bill. Our tax dollars need to be spent on mental and physical health care, child care, education, and infrastructure.

To use taxpayer dollars defending a now law that you know will joy hold up in court is offensive to teachers, to public servants, to those struggling with food insecurity, to those unemployed etc. You are guardians of taxpayer dollars. Use them wisely.

This bill is misguided at any time, but there are South Carolinians ALREADY BORN who are dying of COVID-19 and who need your attention and resources NOW. Stop playing God.

Every person who voted for that bill and the Governor who signed it, has been touched by abortion. They just don't know it.

We should be using these funds to pay teachers more, fight covid, improve infrastructure, reverse climate change, etc etc! Lawmakers who sponsor unconstitutional bills should have to pay out of their own pockets for these law suits!
