I have scheduled a conversation with the rector at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church to see if he will lend church endorsement to this campaign. I'll provide him a copy of your letter. Thank you for taking action.

The University should consider holding lectures or events in the Center to strengthen our relations with this community.

The threat against the United States, quite possibly, is found within our borders not the "Islamic state". This term has been used as propaganda to gain support for unjustified US military action. Our students, throughout the US should never pay the price for irresponsible governance. We can see, in instances like these, the damaging extent the rhetoric of intolerance has spread to our students, youth, and American systems.
