There are already far too many betting shops nearby and in other parts of Tottenham and Wood Green. They provide no useful service but merely drain money from these areas.

We don't need any more of these. People waste money and end up in dept.

We do not need any more betting shops. The government will not legislate because they raise money from betting taxes.

We do not need another betting shop and it brings nothing beneficial to the community.

Converting this handsome building into a betting shop would be a disaster. It is a large handsome corner building in good condition. PP signage would wreck it. Also the area is saturated with betting shops already.

betting shops are a centre for crime. they should all be banned.

This is shocking news and morally wrong that there should be more betting shops in such a small stretch of the street.

Paddy Power obvioulsy think that there is yet more money that can be squeezed from the unfortunate gamblers of this area. surely enough is enough.

One of 2015 election pledges is to give Grade II listed status to any pub over 50 years old!

This deprived area is already saturated with betting shops and large groups of men loiter outside smoking, drinking and spitting. Children have to walk past to and from school and they are a tax on the poor.

I live three minutes walk from the proposed location of the Paddy Power betting shop at the site of the closed Lordship Tavern. I believe it will add to crime and antisocial behaviour locally and I am already frightened to walk past the place in the early evening let alone later at night. I ask the licensing team to refuse the application to prevent escalation of crime locally and help make this a safer place to live not a more frightening place.

There are far too many betting shops in the area already. They do not benefit the local community or the local economy. Decline their application.

One of the most detrimental kinds of shops, which doesn't provide any service to the community.

Premises unlawfully n unfairly taken back cannot be allowed to be opened as a betshop when there are two of them a few step away.

Another betting shop will bring more problems to the area. I strongly object.
