The University of North Dakota chapter of Students for a Democratic Society and the undersigned urge that the University agree to the following demands:
1.) Affiliate with the Worker Rights Consortium (WRC) which is an independent monitoring agency that attempts to protect the rights of the worker and fight against sweatshops.
2.) Adopt the Designated Suppliers Program (DSP) which would require UND suppliers to respect the right to organize and compensate their workers with a living wage.
3.) Amend the Code of Conduct with full disclosure of the names and locations of factories producing for the school, as well as the wages paid to workers who manufacture the garments.
