This petition is in response to the petition in support of Baroness Tongue on the website of the Stop the War Coalition. Ms Tonge has stated publicly that she would support an investigation into blood libel claims against the Israeli medical teams in Haiti. She is the patron of the Palestine Telegraph an on-line newspaper that publishes blood libels as well as anti Semitic propaganda accusing 'Zionists' of causing the First and Second World Wars. She has also stated that Jews 'should be totally ashamed of themselves' thereby holding all Jewish people responsible for the actions of the Israeli Government. If you believe that the centuries old blight of anti Semitism must be fought and that no legitimacy should be given to those who espouse racist views, please sign this petition.
