The board has officially withdrawn the proposal for the gas plant. I am deeply tired after this long fight but knowing we protected our town makes the struggle worth it. Keep your eyes on the upcoming council meetings because we need to remain vigilant.

We hit one hundred signatures today. The process is exhausting and the opposition is relentless but seeing this many people join me makes the weight a little easier to carry.

With Vestas, a wind turbine factory, so close it would make sense to support local green energy rather than contribute more pollution to the already bad air of the Front Range. Too bad, since I moved here for the CLEAN AIR 9 years ago. What happened, Colorado?

We live in the Baldridge neighborhood. I feel if this plant is built it will negatively impact our neighborhood by reducing home prices, and curb appeal. It will be a huge eyesore for the Town of Severance.

I foresee substantial public safety concerns associated with the proposed gas processing plant, lowered property values, higher property hazard insurance which is already expensive, among other concerns. Industries such as this are needed somewhere, but should sited near population centers.

No Gas Plant in my Backyard!!!! We have a farm next to this site and this type of industrialization could affect the crops and in turn affect our food source. If there is any type of spill, this could affect our water too. This is not an appropriate place!

I am very much against this gas plant in Severance, co. I live about a half mile from the proposed site. We already have to much noise from all the semi-trailer trucks on county road 23 now. I live right off county road 23 and the noise from these trucks is continuous day and night.

I think a lot of the young families that have really grown Severance and Windsor in the last several years would be extremely disappointed to end up living closely to a facility like this. I, and many of my peers, would seriously consider moving.
