Thameslink stopping is sorely needed as its the gateway to the Overground and other trains to London Bridge and Victoria, whilst also enabling those located in the area a direct route to north London.

So many commuters would benefit in this area - it would alleviate the crowding problems on the fast London bridge service which is the only other option for the city - most use it to connect with the tube to get into the City. It's a big enough station and could take the extra passengers, not to mention what it would do for the under-invested South Norwood area.

Norwood Junction is an essential junction for the South East of London operating in perfect harmony with East Croydon. It can only be a positive for Thameslink to stop at this station! There is even a platform already in place (Platform 7) which simply needs to be re-opened - i.e. minimal investment needed!

Would be crazy not to stop at Norwood Junction - unlike E croydon rush hour it is a link from Brighton, Reigate, Tonbridge etc, to New Cross Gate/Dalston as well as St P Intl

Connecting up South Norwood is vital for regeneration - commuting is a miserable experience at the moment, expansion with new routes would take pressure off Canada Water and London Bridge.
