I love archery and would love to have access to an out door range in Northern Marin. I currently have to go all the way to Oakland or Pacifica to shoot outdoors. Please let me know if I can contribute volunteer hours as well.

Raised my whole to love and respect the outdoors as well as bows, guns and hunting ! Having a safe peaceful surroundings to further education and respect for the outdoors is the best way to keep the next generation out of trouble and away from those who may influence them to go down the wrong trail in life! I used many ranges growing up in Michigan and even made one or two of my own on family property , I would love to do it again here in Novato !

nit only is archery relevant to Native American history, but it is also a valuable activity for children and adults alike.

This would be a welcome addition to Olompoli and Marin.

It seems like a natural fit that celebrates Native American culture. Where I live we have many archery ranges in much smaller, city parks. I would love to come to Marin and be able to shoot in a quiet wooded setting.

An archery range would enhance the park experience, especially for kids. I can't think of a better way to provide some diversity to kids along with educating them as to the ways of our native american culture.

There is not a better use of state public property being utilzed with recognizing Native American culture and archery skills while incorporating the responsibility that is automatically required by the indviduals.Unless of course those making these decisions don't think the citizens of California are responsible enough...
