At present the Northern Outlook program has been searching for a location to further support young people in cairns, however members of our community are not supporting the work that this program does for our region. The northern outlook is not a Juvenal Detention center, is a support service for organisations and individuals that are young and at risk or are supporting youth at risk. these services or young people are located from Cairns to Weipa, and all up the cape. We WANT more from our community, We want the Northern outlook to call itself home in cairns. By Signing this Petition your are making a statement that, 1. The northern outlook is a vital service and deserves to call itself home in cairns, and redlynch is the best place to do that. 2. That the support services for our communities between cairns in the cape deserve a service such as the Northern outlook to be situated in their own facility to better deliver service and support. 3. That land value should not play in the decisions in developing community services.a
