Northdale orthopaedics rotation for interns.

Was happy working at NDH during my orthopedics rotation

Good hands on experience at NDH. Senior staff is always available either telephonically or in person. Grand ward round weekly where both consultants do teaching and are open to questions. Clinic provides an invaluable experience that will be helpful post internship.

NDH ortho was an amazing learning opportunity, the doctors and nursing staff went out of their way to teach.

Northdale provides invaluable experience to any doctor in training. The teaching was superior to that of the other PMB circuit hospitals in my opinion. Seniors were always available whether telephonically or in person to second any decisions one is unsure of. It would be to the detriment of interns as well as the orthopaedics department to remove interns from the hospitals orthos department.

The teaching during the northdale orthopaedics rotation was excellent especially by Dr Naidoo and Dr Turino. This department is one of the few departments at northdale which is managed extremely well despite staff shortages. I learnt how to be more independent as well as learnt to practice invaluable skills. I strongly believe that northdale should remain one of the hospitals interns rotate through for orthopaedics

Gained a great deal of skills and knowledge during my month at NDH Ortho in January 2017. Excellent, compassionate consultants and Orthopaedic nursing staff.

NDH OOPD is such a great learning experience

Northdale ortho is a great facility. The staff is amazing and the learning is on point.

Learnt more at NDH than Greys. However senior staffing needs to be addressed fast
