Upgrade the Northcote Point Ferry Terminal!

In signing this petition I fully support the keeping-on of the Northcote Point Ferry and encouraging its use for as many reasons as there are.

I would like to see the wharf always repaired and usable. If budget permits an all weather wharf would be excellent.

I can't understand why Ferry services don't seem to be featuring highly in Auckland's public transport plans. We are a city surrounded by water, surely it makes sense to use water transport to get around!

This is a no brainer if we want to reduce cars on the roads.

AT need to repair/replace for the future. Not close and demolish

I thought AT wanted to get cars off the road, Get link buses to an all weather boat ramp and use the cycle land that millions of dollars were spent on to get the cars off the road. By taking it away you are encouraging people back into cars.

I agree that the wharf should be reopened, an all-weather facility would be very useful.

I support investing in a new all-weather wharf at Northcote Point for both locals and residents of adjacent suburbs.

this ferry stop is necessary & strategic to aucklands public transport system... tho the planners at AT are blinded by their profligate & unjustifiable spending on cycleways.

Make the wharf great! And add more parking if possible

I am surprised that AT would even consider closing such a useful public transport option, and one that in the scheme of many of their new projects foisted on the local community is high-use and relatively low cost.

It needs to be saved!

Repair Northcote Ferry Terminal. It is used by our community every day, and has been the gateway to the Northshore since early Auckland was first developed.

A new wharf or at least repair existing one before sky path.

Fix the Northcote Wharf immediately. Bring back our Ferries.
