I can not believe this site could even be considered as a crematorium.

Dastardly manoeuvring by higher authority to take over the Northcliffe Park with hidden agenda plans is just not acceptable. Parks are there for people not not for big money makers.

My daughter and I often visit Northcliffe park and woods and enjoy this area very much, as a child we played here often, it would be such a shame for it to go!

Makes no sense for Northcliffe as a site given the proximity of Nabwood Crematorium.

It is a place I often go for on an evening walk. We don't want it taken away.

This land was left in trust to the people of Shipley for recreation and enjoyment by Sir Norman Rae. Like the Stray in Harrogate, it should be kept for that purpose only.

Say NO to the propopsed Crematorium at Northcliffe Park , Heaton Woods, Shipley Bradford. This is a fantastic nature reserve that inspires the youth and old alike into enjoying nature at its best and to help create a brighter future for all. We can not let the authorities keep conveniently removing parts of our greenbelts and natural lands. This is where Bradford remains rich and attracts people. When is enough enough.

The site is for the people not the council. It should not be an option

Spent my childhood playing there and it is criminal to think a council can overturn a will which says it was left in perpetuity. Mr Rae would be turning in his grave

Northcliffe Park does not belong to the Council; it was gifted to the people for recreation. Does he Council have a legal right to re-allocate its purpose? A crematorium will completely alter the character of the whole Northcliffe facility; a relatively peaceful, natural, quiet and vehicle-free area, which is rare to find in an urban environment and which is used to its full, contributes immeasurably to the physical and mental health of the users, will be irrevocably lost. Not to mention the disturbance to the wildlife that presently flourishes in the natural woodland. How many well-established trees will be cut down to accommodate the contractor vehicles and vehicle access route?
