Ivy Ave. Monrovia, CA 91016 We, the residents of Mayflower School District are requesting additional safety traffic enforcement on North Alta Vista Street during the pick up and drop off of the students from Mayflower Elementary School. The crossing guard and school xing that is taking place on Mayflower Street should have also been placed on North Alta Vista. Alta Vista is a very busy street with limited school traffic enforcement. The cars coming from Hillcrest south and Foothill north are not aware of the student who cross the street.This street has no street crossings for children neither better informing sings about the school traffic. To prevent any tragic event we need to improve the safety of North Alta Vista. Please take our petition under consideration as soon as possible and add more safety to this street.
