I have 4 children in nt district schools that all complain because lunches are so gross they would rather not eat all day. Also are all watching what they eat and the healthy food selection is horrible.

I grew up in a high school where you could go off campus to eat. It's a great way to give kids more personal responsibility..

School lunches have improved so much at this location. Students are allowed more than one. If one isn't eligible for a free lunch then how can the afford food of district. There's been many changes in this school like the subline, panini machine, salad bar, new menu items. Instead of promoting fast food junk we should be promoting trying something new and healthy!!!!

This is always a great idea. My school district ken-ton has something like this called senior privlage. Which means if you have a gpa average of 85% or higher for the previous marking period of classes you get senior privlage and get to leave during study halls and lunch, basically anytime you have a free period. I agree too school lunches are awful I never have a hard time turning down school food.

The seniors deserve this!! I wish I had this opportunity when I was a senior, but it gives them the chance to see what college life is like and gives them the responsibility of paying for their own food and getting back to school on time for their next class!

prices and the amount given for it is definitely not enough for a growing teenager, it's like a lunch for a toddler, many teens can't afford a lunch especially ones who are not "eligible" for a free or a reduced lunch. And some teens don't even have a lunch in the schedules but have study halls.

Although I didn't get the option or privilege of eating wherever I wanted when I was in school I feel that freedom is a fantastic opportunity for students now to earn!

I think SENIORS should ONLY get this privilege the underclass should not be allowed to leave school for off campus lunch

As long as no one drives of off campus. Walking privileges only for seniors.any student who leaves Must be back on time or disciplinary action may be taken with removal of privileges.

The schools food is gross and it is ridiculous that there is a price raise this year for that garbage.
