I have spent half my life in that pub and watching the bank try to tear it down breaks my heart. We need to hit the two hundred and fifty signature mark today to show the council that we are not going to let our local history be buried under a supermarket shelf.

I spent the morning walking past the pub and thinking about the decades of history that the bank is so eager to erase. We are staying loud because the silence from the owners only confirms they think we will just roll over. This place belongs to us and I am not giving up until they understand that.

Used to go here every Friday after work such a great atmosphere dont build flats or a shop there
Too many pubs closing down already we dont need another supermarket in this area
just what we dont need another express shop ruin the vibe of the whole street
NOT ANOTHER TESCO PLEASE. Keep it as a pub!
my dad met my mum there back in the day such a shame to see it go
Was my local for years plus I enjoyed a beer prior to and after games at QPR
Preserve the North Pole from becoming a Tesco store at all costs

lived here 20 years and the north pole is the only place left to meet neighbours. leave it alone
