In her tenure as North Mac school district superintendent, Ms. Marica Cullen, in spite of repeated pleas from faculty, staff and citizens, either through

emails, phone calls or public comments at Board of Education meetings, fails to provide for the safety of the children of our district, creates and fosters a mistrustful, micromanaged, abusive work environment and lacks adequate communication skills with North Mac patrons.

As stated in North Mac School Board Policy 1:30, #5: "The Superintendent must be of good character and of unquestionable morals and integrity. The Superintendent shall have the experience and skills necessary to work effectively with the Board, District employees, students, and the community."

Although these concerns are not new to either the Superintendent or to the Board of Education, to date, no real, meaningful change has been enacted. A climate of mistrust and suppression exists within our teaching, educational support staff and patrons of the North Mac School District. As patrons of the North Mac School District, we do not make these accusations lightly.

Therefore, in the interest of our district's children, we have created this petition.

We, the undersigned, have no confidence in Ms. Marica Cullen's leadership as North Mac School District Superintendent to implement the mission of the District and to provide for the continued safety of the district's children. Ms. Marica Cullen needs to be replaced as district superintendent.
