I am a young citizen living in the Dover area. I would just like to say and speak on behalf of many of us living around the vicinity that these wind turbines should not go up. Let's put it this way, how would you feel having to put up with these huge headaches in your own backyard?

- Not only are they a nuisance to look at,

- they ruin the natural landscape,

- they decrease all of our property values immensely,

- they could have adverse long term affects,

- they are noisy,

- they have an effect on killing birds and bats around the areas (which is not environmentally friendly as these wind turbines are trying to portray),

they are just not wanted in this community at all! Honestly though, who does this benefit besides the government and people who are adding them as an addition to their property? This is not something anyone requests, and there are other ways around retrieving energy, so why not consider partaking other steps in doing so. Why were the local community members not informed of the meetings and such going on the discuss these issues? We are the ones having to put up with these atrocious things. We were never informed of any of this! Oh and in other terms, where is all of this wind going to? Will we even be using it all in our local community? Overall, I do not want this, neighbors don't want this, the community does not want this, so why put it in our community just to benefit a couple of people? I don't care if I will be paid to have it on my property, I would never give into doing so! Not for this! These turbines are just destroying our homes!
