No need for more storage units! North Phoenix needs restaurants and high end shopping. NOT more sleazy storage facilities.

This is not necessary or wanted in our neighborhood. We are inundated with storage facilities. Enough already!

Let’s try to stop the tacky industrial type services proliferating our neighborhood. Do we need anymore automobile services either?!!!

My family is opposed to yet another proposed storage facility being built. To help keep these neighborhoods home values up, prime real estate such as this should be used for fine dining, etc. Even professional businesses would be better suited than bringing down our neighborhood home values with these types of businesses. Once you place a business of this caliber in that location then we are less apt to ever see the remaining open lots surrounding this storage facility develop into higher quality and lower crime businesses. Businesses such as storage units, car washes, automotive supply stores, tire businesses, etc. should be built off the main roads more into locations like an industrial area similar to Deer Valley and the 101 East side where there are already similar businesses. Businesses from Happy Valley to Carefree Hwy should be developed to the standards that us current home owners and the new construction homes demand. We didn’t buy half a million to a million dollar homes to only have fast food and businesses such as these saturate our neighborhood. I am tired of having to drive to Scottsdale or Desert Ridge to enjoy a quality shopping and dining experience. This takes our money and taxes out of our local area. Aesthetically our businesses along the main roads should be built to be visually appealing as well. And to keep in line with the “dark sky” standards. Building a 3 story businesses with lighting surrounding it and the parking lot only detracts from the neighborhood beauty and adds to light and more noise pollution. I sincerely request that yet another storage facility be denied along the main roads of Happy Valley, Dove Valley, Sonoran Valley and Jomax Road. It is time to provide the homeowners of this area quality businesses to justify the prices we are spending on homes.

This is not why we purchased a home in this nice area. We do not want or need another storage unit.

With all of the new housing in the area, the corner of North Valley Pkwy and Sonoran Desert should be for restaurants or retail.

This is an extremely poor use of this land. There are multiple storage facilities already in this corridor.
