To Whom it May Concern,

I believe that the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) promotes messages of hate and intolerance that have no place in American discourse. Their highly offensive and vulgar messages attack homosexuals, soldiers, specific individuals, and even thank God for the attacks on America on September 11th. These messages are contemptible regardless of one’s opinions regarding gay marriage, the president, the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan, any particular religion, or even religion itself.

I am concerned that by providing their services to the WBC, American companies are not only enabling, but even profiting from the WBC’s hate speech activities. The WBC’s activities can and should be stopped, and that this can be done by denying them the services that their organization needs to operate around the country. Without the implied support of airlines, hotels, and rental companies, the WBC will be unable to continue to demonstrate around the nation. I ask that your company refuse to serve the Westboro Baptist Church, which will prevent them from spreading their vulgar and offensive messages.

For this reason, I ask that your company please exercise your legal and completely justifiable right to refuse service to the Westboro Baptist Church and any of its members, sending the message that you will not profit from hate.
