We, the undersigned, believe that capitalism is the worlds dominant economic system. The means of production and distribution which are owned by individuals, private ownership and free distribution lead to more efficient lower prices, better products and greater prosperity for the United States of America. Socialism advocates the ownership and control of the means by the government. In Marxist theory Socialism represents the stage following capitalism in a state transforming to communism. I am signing this petition to urge members of Congress to reject the policies of Socialism which are being advocated by the Obama administration. The United States of America was built upon free enterprise and not the "nanny state" of socialist countries. I am signing this petition to ensure the United States of America remain a great nation and let the Congress know that as an American I demand "No Socialism for me!"
