What we need is investment in sustainable businesses building clean solutions. Wind power, solar, biomass. We have all of these installed in Thanet but we don't build any of them here. Why not? If Craig Mackinlay and Roger Gale put as much energy into encouraging clean green industries in Thanet, rather than trying to revive old failed technology, then we'd have loads of employment and world-beating industries.

I oppose the re-opening of Manston airport and subsequent night flights as they will be detrimental to health of local residents and will halt any tourism benefits presently growing within the area.
