You know the places, the ones who are always waving around dollar bills to try to lure you in with your car title. Let me tell you, it is legalized loansharking. You might as well go get your money in an alley, not much difference, except nobody will break your legs. That's about the only protection you as a consumer are offered in many states. Title lending is set up for the greedy to become more wealthy and take many folks last worldly possession. People are designed to survive and in a moment of extreme desperation, they can fall prey to the title lenders ploy. We must stop this. 5 states remain that allow title pawns, we must first abolish title pawns. Our nation is hurting and we need to send a message to these people that we are not going to allow them to continue to prosper if it means hurting our brothers and sisters. The coalition really needs an attorney to represent us and help us with all the legal stuff. I can't offer any money as the coalition is non-profit and all I want to see it become is a way to help my brothers and sisters in the USA to have a better life. All help is appreciated. The main state we need to concentrate on is Georgia. They have basically no regulation. Title lenders can pretty much do as they will to an individual.
