Nominate John Taddeo for 2019 Horatio Alger Award and Membership

I am nominating John Taddeo for the Horatio Alger Award not only because he is a well accomplished, dedicated individual, but because it takes a special kind of man to attain his goals and make an impact on society and John is one of those few. I admire all that he has become.

From the first moment I met John, I always saw in him a leader and for the many years I have known him, he continuously shows his leadership skills. However, even the leader he is, John has always helped everyone around him at all costs. His dedication to help his community and people in his life is the reason why not only does he have lifelong friends but has the respect and admiration of so many. John is the definition of hard work and through that he has achieved all his goals in life. Not always has it been easy for John, although he makes it seem effortless, John has had personal, health, and financial hardships. These hardships however have only strengthened John and his ability to achieve all his dreams through his excellence and dedication to everything he sets his mind to. Through it all, I cannot think of a more qualified person than John to receive this award as he is the definition of a Horatio Alger Association member.

There is no doubt that John is a leader, whether running a business or attending law school, John always stands out to guide, counsel, and lead his peers. Throughout the years I have known John, he has also continuously shown a never-ending dedication to helping others, whether through anonymous charitable contributions or investing his time in mentoring others, his commitment to helping those around him is second to none. Not only does John dedicate his time to helping others, he has built everything he has in life through his own hard work, even in the face of financial and health related hardships. John does not let problems or obstacles stand in his way and has shown repeatedly throughout his life that through hard work and dedication all things are attainable. Simply put, John Taddeo exemplifies the qualities that members of the Horatio Alger Association represent.

Greetings and salutations of the day: From the adage "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required," ...Luke 12:48. I use the biblical reference for John because he truly has the love of Jesus flowing through his veins as he educates with his advocacy regardless which vocation he might be employed. Besides be a faithful and loving husband, I know John both personally and professionally. His love of animals and his endeavors in dog rescue with investments of time, money and sweat equity, he is more than "I'll write a check" he is more of "lets see if we can make a difference". In his present professional capacity he understands my needs and feelings because he's been there and he is present with his mind and his big heart. I don't usually nominate anyone for anything but in his case he is most deserving of this honor and I welcome the celebration of this achievement for him, for it will be a celebration for someone who lifts others up!

I am writing to support the nomination of John Taddeo for the Horatio Alger Award. I’ve known John for 15 years and it is a great honor to do so. John is a wonderful, selfless, incredibly innovative leader. His achievements, creative writing and professionalism are as great as his values to family and friends.

I have known John Taddeo for the better part of my adult life. In fact, since I turned about 20! I can say unequivocally that he deserves the Horatio Algers Award and likely many others. The John that I know has not only taken myself and others under his wing in business while simultaneously providing us an education, but has also given chances to so many that probably would NEVER have had them, some that might have NEVER succeeded without those opportunities given, but as a result of it have found a way to flourish. And that isn't just professionally. Through John's mentoring, (I can only speak for myself) I learned self-discipline, and most importantly self respect. He took a guy with the gift of gab and not much else and turned him into a powerhouse in life, regardless of situation or circumstances. All the while dealing with his own adversities, and as he does in all things, he triumphed over those as well! John Taddeo exemplifies Excellence in EVERYTHING he does, he doesn't see problems, he sees solutions. And just by merely being present, those around him almost seem to rise in their own abilities and work ethics similarly to all boats rising in the tide! If nothing else, John Taddeo embodies the possibilities, and shows those fortunate enough to be in his orbit that truly anyone, no matter the hardship can overcome and can achieve ANYTHING! John Taddeo, is without a doubt is more than deserving of the Horatio Alger Award and Membership.

I feel confident that you will agree that John Taddeo is the most deserving candidate for the Horatio Alger Award. I have been fortunate to know John since childhood. I always admired him for his integrity, work ethic and drive. John had made outstanding accomplishments throughout his life and always hurtled any obstacle that he faced. He is a loyal friend and mentor. I wholeheartedly feel he deserves this award.

I have known John Taddeo for over 40 years, and I can't imagine a person more deserving of this award. John epitomizes all of the qualities associated with the Horatio Alger Award. John is one of the hardest working, and most giving human beings I have had the pleasure of knowing. John would make a magnificent addition to the Horatio Alger Association. Respectfully submitted.

I can't think of anyone more deserving of such an award as the Horatio Alger Award as my friend of 20+ years, John Taddeo.

I have known John for many years and I highly recommend his consideration for this award and membership as he definitively meets all the criteria based on his outstanding professional accomplishments, in achieving triumph over adversity and in demonstrating his commitment to assisting others and the free-enterprise system.

Mr. Taddeo is the definition of triumph over adversity as he overcame financial, medical, and familial troubles. His life story is a true inspiration for greatness.

To whom it may concern, I have had the pleasure and honor of working with and calling John a friend for over the last 10 years. He exemplifies what it is to be truly outstanding. Understanding the challenges that John has had to overcome both personally and professionally is mind blowing. He is an inspiration to me and should be to any person that knows him.
