In 1931 Tod Browning directed a ground breaking movie called Dracula starring Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula. The film was produced by Universal and was based on the 1924 stage play Dracula by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, which in turn is loosely based on the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. The movie set the stage for many horror movies and created a model that would be used for generations for the creation of horror films. Despite becoming a legend for his role in Dracula, Bela Lugosi was never given proper recognition for his efforts in the horror genre and with the exception of a star on the walk of fame in Hollywood, he never received any awards for his work. Please help to nominate Bela Lugosi for a Rondo Hatton award in 2016.
