The purpose of this petition is to stop Miley Cyrus from being a part of the movie “Wake”. Now don’t get me wrong I have nothing against her and I know she has many fans that will disagree with me. They will say that I don’t know her. However I don’t have to be her best friend to know her skills in acting will not fulfill the part of Janie.
In order for Miley Cyrus to play Janie she would have to be the complete opposite of who she is, which she might not be willing to do. No intention to offend Cyrus but Janie is described as intelligent, sweet, beautiful, yet innocent. Other fans and I feel that Cyrus won’t be able to bring such character to life. Just look at the comments of the article about her being in “Wake” in the side.
Many of “Wake” fans feel as if Cyrus is simply is using this role to show her “maturity” and how she is no longer in league with Disney Channel. I would be grateful if you would sign my petition. Thank You.
