PROPOSED MID-CURRITUCK BRIDGE

I can promise you all of the outer banks stakeholders do not want this. Please don’t do this.

Please, do not build this bridge. I like the way of life of the northern beaches. This will detract and become more like Myrtle Beach and Jersey Shore.

This is a useless, unecessary project designed for people who do not live or work in Currituck, OBX or surrounding areas. Please keep this place special.

Help in western NC is still needed more than this megalomaniac bridge imho

I enjoy my peace and quiet ! The bridge would make it difficult to enjoy my retirement as well as getting to my home !

So many other options are available.

This will have countless negative impacts in the land and water.

With critical housing shortage, why force people out of their homes? Ocean claiming house by house not too far from Aydlett in Rodanthe, why spend 1 billion dollars on a bridge that will be used just about 15 weekends out of year?

We are against the bridge.

We don't need this intrusion into the quiet community we chose to live in. A bypass bridge around Duck would placate the visitors, and be much cheaper and less intrusive.

Is Currituck going to change our name? We will no longer be the “land of the wild geese”.

We don't want this in our neighborhood. It will destroy our community & the wildlife here. There are better places to put this nuisance not to mention it will destroy Corolla as well.

Do Not Build. Will Ruin Our Neighborhood.

This will also hurt local businesses in the Lower Currituck, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, & Duck areas.

Nobody who lives here wants this.

No bridge

This is home to loyal residents, wild animals and small businesses. Do a ferry .
