This is a petition to stop the use of unnecessary loud fireworks for Diwali and New year celebrations each year. Diwali is a festival of light & fireworks that only blow up cause noise pollution and hurt animals. They are also dangerous. New years fireworks also are of light and celebration. "Bomb" fireworks are dangerous and have no light. They are an addiction and a way of people in denial letting of anger. Loud fireworks under this definition include china bombs, black spiders, tom thumbs, woodpeckers, and any other firework similar to them. A law should be set at import level to not import them and more laws on sale and use. If it does become difficult to assertain the noise level a decibal meter should be used. Please note that all information collected by this petition may be used in mailing lists. Many signatures are needed in order to have a loud enough voice.
