Please help reduce the traffic speed along this road to 30 mph from 40mph as the extra traffic using the road since Abbey Farm, Abbey Grange and the Boltons have been built has made it very noisy and considerably reduces the pleasure of using the back gardens of homes both on Chapel Park and on St Johns, which back onto Nth Walbottle Road. Even at weekends there is a continual rush of cars and lorries going along the road to join Stamfordham Rd. For those of us who have lived in Magenta Crescent since the estate was built in 1977, the extra noise is unbearable so efforts should be made to make it more peaceful.
