This petition is to address the excessive noise pollution generated by the exhaust of the Syntec Corporation plant in the Garden Lakes area of West Rome, GA. The noise level is that of a jet engine and is detrimental in many ways. This noise affects residents in the surrounding areas and interferes with outside activities. Once peaceful Garden Lakes has become a less attractive and desireable place to live with this loud background noise. Though we appreciate business in the area, we demand that the Syntec Corporation respect the quality of life and the property values in the area by addressing and modifying their exhaust system to reduce the noise generated by their factory.
