Dear Environmental Management Authority,

We, the undersigned residents of North Valsayn, write to formally request your urgent intervention regarding ongoing and excessive noise pollution emanating from entertainment establishments located at Valpark Plaza, particularly along the eastern back corner of the compound.

From Wednesday to Sunday each week, between approximately 11:30 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., residents—especially those living along the eastern side of Grove Road and Palm Road—are subjected to persistent and intrusive noise. This includes heavy bass vibrations and amplified music from DJs, which travel significant distances and frequently rattle windows, disrupting the peace and safety of our homes.

The prolonged and repeated nature of this disturbance has severely impacted our sleep, health, and overall well-being. The low-frequency bass is particularly problematic, as it penetrates structures and cannot be mitigated by simply closing windows or doors.

We respectfully draw your attention to the Environmental Management Act, Chapter 35:05, and the Noise Pollution Control Rules, which establish permissible sound levels and require that noise emissions do not unreasonably disturb nearby residential communities. Based on the intensity, duration, and timing of the disturbances, we are concerned that these standards are being exceeded on a consistent basis.

We therefore request that the Environmental Management Authority:

- Conduct an urgent investigation into the noise levels originating from Valpark Plaza during the specified hours;
- Determine whether the establishments in question are in compliance with the Noise Pollution Control Rules;
- Verify whether any Noise Variation Permits have been granted and whether their conditions are being adhered to; and
- Take appropriate enforcement action to ensure that residents are no longer subjected to excessive and unreasonable noise pollution.

This letter also serves as a formal petition on behalf of affected residents. Below are the names and signatures of those directly impacted and supporting this request for immediate intervention:
