The constant weekend and evening noise from the HS of the Humanities gym is due to various volleyball leagues renting the space after hours. The noise emanates through the open windows on the courtyard side facing the backyards and windows of the homes on 18th St. They leagues have been told on numerous occasions to keep the windows closed but they cannot follow that rule. Please sign the petition to indicate your disturbance from the noise (whistle blowing, yelling, and cheering) that goes on at nights and weekends. Perhaps we can get the school to enforce the closed windows rule and if the leagues cannot follow then they should not be allowed to rent. I presented to the CB4 Quality of Life group and they were very supportive in this endeavor. Let your voice be heard! Thank you!
