Save Cameron Park
We the undersigned are requesting that our County Supervisors and Planning Commissioners maintain the quality of life of Cameron Park residents by denying giant retailers (often referred to as big box stores) from locating their outlets adjacent to residential property. A giant warehouse store does not fit into a neighborhood of homes, schools, and churches. Commercial property located adjacent to homes should be developed for professional offices or small businesses that serve the surrounding community and should reflect the architectural style of the area. Small markets, barbershops, cafes, jewelry stores, boutiques, etc. will better serve nearby residents who might choose to walk rather than drive to do their shopping. We ask that the County Supervisors and Planning Commissioners read the sign on the corner of Cameron Park Drive and Country Club Drive that reads: Cameron Park, A Special Place to Live. We ask that our County Supervisors and Planning Commissioners keep this statement in mind when these community altering decisions are made. El Dorado County residents only. Thank You. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEND ANY MONEY TO SIGN THIS PETITION!
