The SB Aquino III administration called for the postponement of the supposed August 8, 2011 ARMM Elections as mandated by the ARMM Organic Act originated from the section of the Philippine Constitution and synchronized it to 2013 national elections to avoid violence and massive fraud. to add, the president will then appoint the OICs of ARMM until the new elected officials in 2013 took oath.

Appointing authority is a bad precedent to other government units in the Philippines. It could be use by any higher authority to rule over the sovereignty of any entity to accommodate allies and padrinos...
