There is not enough space to express the rational, why this is wrong. Tangle wood is a special park. Not a giant event center! Shame on the council members who support this. This does take in, damage to wildlife, ecosystem and on & on.

Such an event center would destroy the peace and tranquility of Tanglewood. Traffic during the Festival of Lights is already a nightmare. This could conceivably create problems all year.

A 50,000 sq ft building will NOT fit in the small pasture that was indicated. A monstrosity that size will take a LOT more property from the park than they commissioners are letting on. This is just the beginning of a large land grab for an event center that no one wants or needs. Someone has money burning a hole in their pocket and feels the need to spend it. BAD IDEA!!!

As large as Clemmons is, I am sure there is a much more suitable location for an event center. You don't put an event center in the center of a BEAUTIFUL city park.
It will 100% destroy the reason there is a park in the first place. The city council are idiots to even consider this to be the site.

The people of Forsyth County have been entrusted with a wonderful gift. It would be unfortunate to see this monstrosity erected in space where children feed horses, ride bikes, and enjoy Mother Nature.
