It is now common knowledge that sellers and even some buyers do not like the new star rating system for a variety of reasons. It is subjective at best and DOES NOT promote COMMUNICATION between Buyer and Seller. By making it an anonymous feedback vehicle, it in fact, discourages communication between Buyer and Seller. The successful eBay transaction should be built on trust and open communication between Buyer and Seller. Ebay has "preached" communication, communication, communication to us from day one and yet this new system goes against everything eBay has said regarding that. I would like eBay to remove this system until such time as it can be implemented in a way that promotes clear and fair communication between Buyer AND Seller. An anonymous feedback system cannot do that! Sign the petition to get rid of this ridiculous system!
