Stop Credit Report use to issue Auto Insurance
Many automobile insurance companies use Credit Report scores to decide how much they will charge you for your auto-insurance. They use the Federal FAIR credit reporting act as their reason for using this method. In fact; NO Federal Act or Agency REQUIRES auto-insurance companies to use this method. WE; the taxpaying citizens are being OVERCHARGED, as a result of this UNFAIR method. When do auto-insurance companies EXTEND you credit? NEVER!!! They lean on the use of this method, only, to GOUGE the American taxpaying citizens. It's TIME WE STOP THIS UNFAIR method. The Federal Trade Commission needs to focus on the unfairness of the use of this method. Even if the FTC may have sanctioned it in the past. The FTC needs to seriously reconsider this issue.
