Whereas the great majority of the citizens of Erath County are outraged at the fact that a Tarleton student will be putting on a one-act play, Corpus Christi, on the campus of Tarleton State University on March 27, 2010. This play is beyond offensive as it depicts the Lord Jesus Christ and His 12 disciples as homosexual. (A sin Jesus died for) Furthermore, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is sarcastically crucified at the end of the play as the "King of the Queers". We the people understand the so called First Amendment right this student has to spew his hatred for God and God's people on the campus of Tarleton State University. Should this actually take place on March 27, 2010, the good name of Tarleton State University will be ruined forever! Furthermore, we the people of Erath County and beyond will take our First Amendment right to stop supporting Tarleton State University with our finances or our presense until they choose to do the right thing. We implore you to stop this horrific one-act play called Corpus Christi from being allowed to take place on the campus of Tarleton State University, March 27, 2010.

Im so tired of schools acting like this is art when its just plain disrespect to the Lord. Tarleton used to be a good school.
Unbelievable that this is allowed on campus. Tarleton needs to wake up and start respecting the values of this state.
this is absolutely sickening. my tax dollars should not go to fund blasphemy like this at a public university. cancel it now!
