According to new research by Dr. David Strayer, a teen driver\'s \"reaction times are the same as a 70-year-old driver,\" when they are one their cell phone. We propose to you a new federal law idea that would limit teens and elderly drivers from talking on cell phone while operating motor vehicles on public highways. Or at the least strap a big flashing light and sign that says \"Distracted Driver\" to the tops of these vehicles so other motorists would see them coming and have time to take evasive action. A speaker shouting \"I don\'t know what I\'m doing, so MOVE\" might be a good addition as well.
