Let this dedicated man coach his last year. The school district needs to afford him the same respect as he shows each and everyone of his players and their families.

I second what Patricia Myott said. I have lived in Jericho most of my life and feel Phil is not being treated fairly. What he has done as a coach and as a member of this community is priceless. I say GIVE HIM ONE MORE YEAR!!!

As a resident of Jericho since 1976 I have had the pleasure of knowing the Jacob's family since then. Phil is a respected member of our Town, and I feel he is being unfairly let go as our Coach. As a taxpayer that pays the salaries of the school employee's I feel I have a say in this matter, And I say let Phil coach the one more year he has always wanted. Let his team honor him in the manner that he deserves, And not just shove him off the field.

Phil Jacobs has been more than a coach to students, he has been a MENTOR. What did he do to deserve this kind of treatment. Totally unprofessional .
