Your mismanagement of funds is not our responsibility. Toll rolls are theft in the purest form. Gas tax for roads at the pump, tax on vehicles we drive, road built from taxes. Pay to drive on a road we paid for?

I oppose toll roads in North Carolina and section
Senate Bill 1381 residence of North Carolina paid too many taxes to the states and I believe all money. Every dime from toll roads should be shown to North Carolina public residence. There’s way too much corruption in our politicians.

NC Quick pass has private members accounts. I am one of them, but they would not honor my toll because I purchased a new vehicle and did not add it to my account before using the toll road. This is bull crap!

If they are going to charge tolls on the south side they should be charged throughout 540 and any new construction. Not fair to charge some taxpayers and not others.

Either ALL of 540 should be a toll road or NONE of 540 should be a toll road! No favoritism should be shown to residents who live in certain sections of Wake County. Everyone paid for the existing sections of 540; southern residents should not have to pay double for the new sections of 540 while northern residents pay nothing. Either all of 540 is a toll road or none... that's the only fair way!

Taking the toll off that end of 540 would help reduce the Apex "bottle-necking that happens everyday and also free up RT 1...also, the fact that the toll is on one side of 540 is ridiculous!

540 is a a big pain for me. Not only is it overpriced, and paid for by tax dollars, they can never bill me properly, causing me to call (during inconvenient work/business hours) and settle things over the phone. With no end in sight, I'm outraged and irritated. How could anyone allow this?

Residents of Chatham County are being unfairly and disproportionately taxed by tolling on I-540. We understand that the tolls collected to date (12/2015) have more than paid for the construction costs of I-540. Therefore, the NC legislature should remove the toll gantries from I-540 and make it a free highway, like all the other highways in NC. It is unfair to charge us tolls, when all the other roads have no tolls.

Look at the occupancy at any given point of time , it is a joke.. Why do they want to toll people who are far away from wealthy neighborhoods in cary and raleigh. It is about time the governor and government re-think this and keep NC toll free highways and top class state to live in..or pack your bags and move out

I was sent a bill for $94.51...only $4.51 was actually for tolls. This is not a professional way to treat tourists. I strongly disagree with this practice.

The DMV is holding all my vehicles not the One with the toll. Disabled and no ride now. 18 month waiting period on a hearing. What is one to do when your company let's you go due to medical reasons. Lifetime electrical journeyman for the city of Greensboro NC. Very disappointed in the way I have been treated in this process.
