We, the undersigned individuals, being registered voters, do hereby declare that WE DO NOT WANT HOMELESS SHELTERS in our residential neighborhoods. 

While we agree that there is a need for such programs and would gladly support them elsewhere, we also realize that homeless programs are inherently disruptive to the lives of those who live around them. 

We have witnessed for ourselves the destruction of property, vagrancy, littering, constant pedestrian traffic, increase in crime, and other problems such programs bring to neighborhoods.

As such, we, the undersigned registered voters, do hereby affix our seal upon this petition to show our support for those who lobby to keep them out of residential neighborhoods.
