No Confidence Vote, Chairman RBMC
Declaration of No Confidence in River Bend Membership Corporation Board Of Directors Chairman Regarding the 2012 Pass Policy.
Be it resolved we hereby declare that we have no confidence in the leadership of the River Bend Membership Corporation (RBMC) Board Of Directors Chairman regarding the 2012 Pass Policy and believe he should be delegated to a non officer board position and replaced as Board Of Directors Chairman by RBMC Secretary Jerry Roberts for cause as enumerated in the following;
Excessive Fees
- Season Passes
- Minor Children Passes
- Owner Passes
- Pool Passes
- Holiday Visitor Passes
- Eight year old children passes
- Visitor Passes
- Visitor Pool Passes
- Renters Passes
Excessive Requirements
- Eight year old children must obtain a Minor Child Pass
- Eight year old children must obtain Holiday Visitor Passes
- Eight year old children must obtain passes for birthdays, anniversary's, weddings
- Fifteen year olds to have an adult in golf carts during operation
- Fifteen year olds operating mini-bikes to be followed by an adult in a golf cart
- Eight year old children to carry scan-able front gate passes
- Twenty visitors maximum for birthdays, anniversary's and weddings
- Denying renters access to purchase Visitor Passes
- Elimination of all free passes
- Elimination of Lot Passes to Only persons listed on the recorded deed
(A) Whereas there is widespread dissatisfaction with the Board Of Directors Chairman's Pass Policy leadership and has resulted unprecedented turmoil and confusion within River Bend Park. The Board Of Directors Chairman is directly responsible for a diminished quality of "river life" resulting from the 2012 Pass Policy. Moreover the Board Of Directors Chairman has not performed adequately in any facet of his job regarding the 2012 Pass Policy by any reasonable measure. The standards of the Board Of Directors Chairman's oversight of the 2012 Pass Policy have been characterized by irresponsible management, questionable business practices, ineffective public relation and,
(B) Whereas the Board Of Directors Chairman's poor judgement and gross mismanagement of the 2012 Pass Policy issues has resulted in needless disenfranchisement of members. The Board Of Directors Chairman blatantly failed to engage the members in open discussion about various issues.
(C) Whereas the Board Of Directors Chairman has complete disregard of members' legitimate concerns about numerous 2012 Pass Policy issues within the Park,
(D) Whereas the Board Of Directors Chairman is not in touch with RBMC members. The Board Of Directors Chairman willfully acted to inhibit transparency and collaboration with members in all matter involving the 2012 Pass Policy and has breached the membership trust.
