No wonder there is road rage while people try to get home from work and have a red light there is such very loud boom noise from a car in line. The neighborhood has to listen to this vibrating noise in their homes a block or even two blocks away as well. This noise has to stop. It is just darn aggravating to all people in general who are law abiding citizens.

After seeing the recent headlines in Florida news we have people shooting other people over what they see is others doing offensive things in public. A man shoot another man in a movie theater over cell phone usage another man is convicted for shooting teenagers who simply wouldn't turn down there radio. People are fed up with the noise and nonsense. It is a shame there is no legislation to avoid these types of incidents from happening. The constant barrage of noise coming from cars passing by my house is far beyond annoying. They want freedom of expression? I want freedom to live peacefully. I wouldn't think of coming into your house and rattling everything you have why is it okay for your noise to rattle everything I have in my house? It needs to stop.

This is a small town and it used to be fairly quiet but now there are cars with the heavy bass speakers cruising the streets. I live by one of our parks. One of our neighbors lets his relatives and their friends come and work on their cars right out in the front yard under a car port. Sometimes they are fine tuning their heavy bass.

Subwoofers make me wish Batman or Chuck Norris would swoop down and thunder kick the ever living day lights out of these thugs and their cars dropped from an air lift, after a few clips of ammo into the stereo head unit while these douche bags watch their illegally purchased toys fizzle. For now only hoping, praying to God most merciful.

I have watched my wife who suffers from vestibular hyperacusis which is extreme sensitivity to sound go from a hard worker to a shell of a person .she can not leave the inside of our home for nothing other then medical attention and , that is no easy task in itself .She has to over medicate wear earplugs and earmuffs just to get there.we hear this thumping from at least eighteen to twenty hours at a time seven days a week.the law here in Florida is a joke especially lake county where we live .She is literally held hostage in our home the only difference between here and jail is square footage,bars,food that is it .she faints so many times a day she now suffers silent seizures and vertigo.She has no life everything we take for granite she can only wish to do .she can not go shopping,or to a restaurant,or visit family or to watch our grand children at school functions or to a park for a picnic with them .I am afraid she is gonna die before Florida will do something .

To all who say that boom cars are becoming the norm and that the perpetrators who argue it is a "freedom of expression and enjoyment." There's no such thing as freedom without responsibility and laws. I say how about not violating other neighbors' rights to watch TV in the living room or spend time with family without having to be interrupted by the irritating "thump, thump" noise? I don't shove my music down your throat, so don't do it to everyone around you. Not everyone is like you with your loose life of partying and addiction to the latest car bass stereos. When I was 22 years old, I had to call the cops multiple times on a couple of fairly new neighbors who were throwing a loud party with subwoofers and all. They had done it before, but this time was enough! So it is certainly an issue with young people as well.
To boom car supporters: the world doesn't revolve around you, so please try to be a more considerate, less selfish neighbor. My parents didn't work their asses off to buy our home in the late 1970s just to encounter more stress and hypertension years later by newcomers who don't know a damn thing about neighborly relations.
I am NOT saying don't enjoy life at all by not playing your music and cranking up your bass, but don't do so at the expense of others.

I have some whites, but mostly blacks riding around constantly in my neighborhoods with that loud noise rattling my dishes. They constantly rides the streets with that noise blasting at all hours of the day and night. Apparently they do not have to work or they are advertising drugs. They seem to be worse at the first of the month when the welfare checks are deposited.

I can't believe that this is even a debate. Low frequency speakers - an advent of relatively recent technologies - enter into the tactile sense, not just auditory. Lawmakers are "afraid" of doing anything to lose votes, or tilt polls rather than make COMMON SENSE legislation. LOUD NOISE, of any kind, is an invasion of PEACE in a world that is increasing arrogant and self gratifying. There is NEVER a time, 24/7, that it is OK to invade the peace of someones home - at ANY decibel.
