I am seriously concerned about having wind turbines in wayne co. I live within 1/2 mile of randolph co and have to look at the ugly, disgusting turbines everyday. I just built a new home, they moved the turbines in and I wish I knew they were doing this. I would not have built. I own two businesses in wayne co. I will move my family and my businesses if I have wind turbines in my future. I really hoped the wayne co government was more pro residents than interested in projects with short term payback. The article in the newspaper was disgusting as it was all about two farmers that financially gained from the wind farms at the expense of the rest of the residents, not only from randolph co but those of us that live in the northern part of wayne co.. Progress? I think not.

I think natural energy is a good thing so we need to go solar we know its not noisey and there are no after effects that we have to wait and see. I say NO to wind turbines!!

Having lived in Wayne Co (Dalton & Perry twp) 64 of my 68 years, I am totally opposed to wind turbins anywhere close to our property. I have no doubt that changing technology, political climate regarding gov. subsidies and probable financial failure of the power companies will leave our beautiful landscape cluttered with unsightly monstrosities. As a country boy I have chosen to live here for many reasons. When I ask myself if I would purchase a property in the middle of a wind farm, I answer no. I SAY A LOUD NO!!!

I'm with all others on this issue, NO WIND TURBINE FARMS! To have a foreign based company come in, put up a wind farm (EDP has its headquarters in Portugal where a majority of its shareholders live), is just plain wrong!!!! Let's hope and pray "money" doesn't speak in this situation!

I'm with all others on this issue. Yes, the idea of clean energy is great, but to have a foreign based company come in, put up a wind farm and then abandon them once the government funds run out is a scary thought for local farmers and land owners that must assume the risk and liability to have them removed, not to mention possible environmental and economical impacts this might have on our countryside.

I'm VERY much against a foreign based company...or any other destroying our productive farmland with UNPRODUCTIVE INDUSTRIAL WIND FARMS! When TRUMP ends these BAD DEALS, and I believe he is a man of his word, the foreign company's will leave us with these eye sores! The company is Only Here For the Subsidy!!!
