We are signing this petition to show opposition for the Proposed Development of 1 & 2 bedroom Apartments(128 units) by "Lab PI Group LLC". The 14.793 acre property is located on West Candler Street in Winder, A.K.A. map and Parcel NumberWN11C 007 according to the Barrow Co. Tax Assessors Website. Mr. Wes Van-Kirk of Van Kirk Electric is pushing this rezone.

We strongly oppose and believe the addition of a High Density Apartments development will add no value to our surrounding communities as most of our current apartment communities are always half empty. We oppose high density housing in our area and want to prevent the negative consequences an impact like this will have: it will increase traffic, lower our property values by setting a precedent for High Density housing, increase crime, subsidized housing and overpopulate our school cluster.
