As a resident of Boston, I am opposed to the granting of a variance to Vincent Marino to build eight one-bedroom rental apartments above 4253-4257 Washington Street, Roslindale. Mr. Marino has not done enough community outreach, refusing to address the need for parking, the impact of his planned construction on the community, and the impact on his current tenants. Mr. Marino refuses to inform the Roslindale community how long this construction project will take to complete. Mr. Marino has admitted that he has no experience with a development exactly similar to this one. Mr. Marino has refused to share any other development work he has completed in order for the community to research the type of sub-contractors he has used and if the development was completed on time.
