Doug, I think you are correct!!!! I'm sorry that was overlooked. I think we thought that wasn't accessible to Taylor southbound since it isn't accessible to Taylor northbound. I will have to fix that in all the literature if I can, and at a minimum, on the final important stuff. Thanks for pointing it out. That is a MUST DO.

The stop sign at Reliez Valley Rd. and McGraw Lane are often overlooked. It takes my kids 25-30 minutes to go 2 miles to Acalanes.
There is also an issue at the end of the day turning into the tennis court lot off Pleasant Hill Road to pick up kids (over 10 minutes - constant flow of traffic going north) as well as turning right out of the lot North on Pleasant Hill Road to get back home or to appointments.

I have the same question as Dennis. It sounds great, but where is the teeth? How will this be enforced?

Congestion on Reliez Valley is definitely significantly worse and so is the congestion on Pleasant Hill Rd and Deer Hill Rd at peak traffic times and the City appears to not be interested in doing anything! It will only be exacerbated by the proposed development at Deer Hill/Pleant Hill junction - both during construct and after - those of us living in this area of Lafayette are being cut off from the City we love

What used to take me 10 minutes to get to Springhill now takes me over 30.

How will this be enforced? Also, if traffic is a concern... why is Lafayette proceeding with the high density housing on Deerhill Rd. at Pleasant Hill Rd? This will exacerbate Reliez traffic too.

As a nearby resident and a teacher at Springhill Elementary school, I completely agree with theses suggestions. The undue traffic in the area from non-residents is ridiculous. We need to worry about our town and its children, not commuters from out of the area.

Immediate action needs to happen in order to remedy this situation. Our children are arriving late to school due to congestion on Reliez Valley Road.
